With the help of online real-time traffic data, the new iGO primo Navigation can guide you even better around traffic jams and traffic disruptions, even slow-moving traffic is taken into account. The data is as current and precise as you know it from the navigation apps on your mobile phone. Simply connect the device via WiFi to a WLAN such as your cell phone hotspot and the navigation automatically downloads the traffic data. With historical traffic data and time-dependent driving bans, the route is calculated correctly at all times, even without a mobile internet connection.

Routing options

If you are not in a hurry, deactivate the highways in the routing options or change the route from “fast” to “optimal”. With numerous functions, you can adapt the route to your wishes, you can also set up avoidances to save toll fees or avoid the need for ferries wherever possible.

Coordinates & geotags

No destination address available? If you do not know the exact address of a destination or it is off the streets, you can also set it using coordinates or select a destination directly on the map. You can also enter the destination with the help of geotags from photos from your last visit to a place, simply insert a USB stick with the photos into the device.

Intelligent target memory

If you often drive to the same destination but cannot remember the route correctly, the intelligent destination memory helps - here the last destinations are suggested, prefixed with destinations that, depending on your habits, could be a potential destination of your current trip.

Automatic zoom & 3D view

The zoom level is automatically adjusted depending on the speed and environment. If you cover a longer distance on a road and no turning maneuvers are necessary, the map view is automatically zoomed out to give you a better overview of the route. There are many options available to adapt the view to your needs - whether you prefer the north view or want to view your route in 3D - this can be easily adjusted.

TTS announcements

With the new TTS announcements, you can have the entire route read out to you and receive information about traffic incidents. Street names can of course also be read out, you will also receive announcements based on noticeable points - "turn right at the traffic lights" or "turn left before the petrol station". Gone are the days when it was just a matter of “turning left in 100 meters”. Alternatively, you can of course switch the speech output so that no names are announced and the announcements are shorter.

2 years free updates

You will receive free updates of the card data for 24 months. In order to be prepared for future updates and additional data, the software is offered on a 16 GB memory card.
