What's new in XCarLink 2 ?

In addition to the basic functions of XCarLink offers the XCarLink 2 the following features:

introduction

The XCarLink is connected to the CD changer connection to the car radio and served as a CD changer via the radio buttons. But when the music source you are now no light- and scratch-sensitive CDs, but modern and robust storage media such as USB sticks or SD cards which are plugged into the cigarette-just-big XCarLink.

Instead of just your favorite music time consuming to burn to CDs, imagine the future just your favorite songs on the computer together and copy them to a USB stick or an SD card and have so available in no time your songs in the car and listen to this CD -quality through your car speakers. In addition to the USB and SD card port of XCarLink also has an AUX input via which can be connected for audio playback as MP3 player, DVD player or notebook.

By XCarLink can be used in principle, all USB sticks and SD cards known manufacturers. The maximum card size is above the SD slot up to 4GB. On USB, we tested to 4GB sticks. With the included USB to SD adapter and SDHC cards can be played with 4GB.

Due to the handling of XCarLink analogous to the CD changer, it is easy and accessible to the user intuitively. If your car is equipped with a multifunction steering wheel, allows the XCarLink also operated easily via the steering wheel.

Put on your storage medium (USB stick or SD card) up to 12 folders (radio dependent) with name 'CD01', 'CD02' up. 'CD12'. Any number of tracks can be stored in one folder, but the display of most radio stations can represent more than 99 titles. Pressing the Disc +/- button (or CD1 to CD12) each folder CD01-CD12 can then be dialed directly.

With our above under accessories, available AUX & USB mounting sockets allows the AUX & USB interface XCarLink extend and installing the USB stick also ergonomically in a shelf or the like.

With the new Bluetooth kit you can easily, quickly and without wasting space your XCarLink 2 extend interface to a Bluetooth® handsfree.
