Who does not know it, the sprite-saving start-stop automatic of the modern vehicles and with it the unpleasant problem of the retrofit world. Against the annoying switching off of retrofitted autoradios during the start process comes the solution here: the voltage stabilizer filters unwanted voltage fluctuations or interfering waves and delivers constantly + 12V. This means that the radio is continuously supplied with power so that the remote (eg for amplifiers) is not interrupted.
(Yellow = output voltage with activated circuit,
Blue = output voltage when the circuit is not activated)
The voltage that drops rapidly during the starting process (partially up to 8V) is stabilized at the output by a smart circuit at a constant 12V.
Batteries when idle:
- Fully charged: from ~ 12.65 volts
- Normally charged (85%): from 12.5 volts
- Weakly charged (50%): from ~ 12.3 volts
- Starting operation no longer possible: 12,1 Volt
- Discharged (deep discharge is threatened): below 11.9 volts
- Deep discharge (battery defective): below 10.7 volts
