2019 DLS can look back on 40yrs of innovations and sincere care of sound!
DLS was founded in 1979 around an invention of a "state of the art" police radio receiver that could scan all frequencies. Already from the start the DLS choose to have exceptional build quality and the highest performance which since then has beend a DLS signum.
DLS Car Audio
With sales of more than 100.000 polices radio scanners DLS was in the mid-eighties a well-known supllier to the growing 12 Volt market.
The love for music made the management to team up with some innovative international speaker producers to release several unique Car Audio products. When the Sound Quality competitions spread in Europe the DLS peakers, with its warm and natural sound, were the preferred choice for many of the PRO installers and the great results followed.DLS early understood the importance of closely supporting and monitoring the sound competitons in order to refine products and get a good foundation for developing natural sounding amplifiers.
Although being a small company DLS staffs dedicated work and support to the DLS World Team have been a success story that have won numerous glamorous prizes in IASCA / EMMA finals all over the globe.
In the same way DLS products have been "over represented" when Magazines and organization give out awards and special recogniations for outstanding product performance. The story continous and altough a lot has changed over the 40 years, we are proud to keep on the innovative spirit and produce the very best speakers and amplifiers to wrap yourself with music full of warmth and joy.
