Our multimedia Interface allows you to reproduce the image signal of any external video source via the monitor of your standard navigation system.

When choosing an external source, there are many options to choose from - whether you want to connect iPod video, game consoles, DVD players, DTT tuners or rear view cameras - with the multimedia Interface , any source can be displayed on the navigation screen.

Due to the specially selected for your vehicle multimedia adapter (always consists of a set with vehicle-specific Interface + cable set), the Interface can be plugged easily plug & play on the terminal block of the navigation system and activated by pressing the corresponding button on the radio.

The signal processing proceeds as follows: The video signal is picked up from the video output of the external source and fed into the video input of the multimedia adapter. This then prepares the video signal according to the specifications of the navigation system and passes it on to this.

The multimedia Interface consists of a high-quality MOST-BUS adaptation. It allows playback of video and audio signals on the factory infotainment system. No FM modulation is used for sound reproduction.

NTG1: E-Class W211 (until 2/2004 CW 6/2004) CLS W219 (with former TV tuner) SL R230 SLK R171 (with former TV tuner) NTG2: A-Class W169 B-Class W245 CLK W209 from 4/2004 GL X164 M-Class W164 R-Class W251 Suitable only for vehicles with green Fakrastecker on the Comand back. From about 4/2004 (NTG1) or 11/2007 (NTG2) this was omitted for vehicles without factory camera and factory-TV. Suitable for vehicles without factory TV function.
