The Dual Shutter reversing camera is a shaving aid of the absolute top class with two lenses in a rugged metal housing. Thanks to the automatic shutter cover, the camera lens is protected against dirt. In the closed state, the lens can be used for long-distance vision. When the reverse is engaged, the shutter opens and also activates the close-up lens.
With wiper, heating, protection class IP68, night vision diodes and microphone, all conceivable features are integrated in this camera. The shutter camera is suitable for motorhomes, Caravan , trucks, vans and other commercial vehicles.
For optimum visibility behind the vehicle, the shutter camera has 2 camera modules: on the one hand with 150 ° detection angle for the close range and on the other with 53 ° detection angle for the distance. 1/4 "Sony CCD sensors reproduce a crystal-clear image.
In addition to the picture, the camera also provides audio signals via an integrated microphone. For example, you can hear children playing behind the vehicle or the announcements of an instructor.
The internal heating warms the two lenses so that the shutter camera delivers impeccable images even in winter.
Each time the shutter is opened and closed, the wiper cleans the camera lens. You always have clear visibility behind.
The integrated infrared diodes allow an optimal representation of the close range behind the vehicle when the daylight is no longer sufficient. This allows you to safely park or unload even in poor visibility conditions and complete darkness.
With protection class IP68, the camera is perfectly protected against environmental influences such as moisture and dust. The first code shows the protection against foreign bodies / touch, while the second refers to the water resistance.
Avoid image interference with our signal filter (optional)
Vehicles of a later date use a pulsed voltage (pulsating) voltage which is unsuitable for image sensors / videoelectronics and leads to functional or image disturbances in order to supply the vehicle exterior illumination (tail light, brake light, etc.).
Therefore do not connect the connecting cable directly to the rear light, but use our signal filter. A suitable signal filter can be found under Accessories.
