The new Z880 is an 8″ ultra-compact aluminum powered subwoofer from Phoenix Gold. This subwoofer has been optimized to fit almost any small space in the vehicle, including under the seats or in limited trunks. The powerful MOSFET amplifier delivers 80Watt RMS and up to 240W Max.

The Phoenix Gold Z880 Ultra Compact 8" Sub is our smallest subwoofer and due to its dimensions it is perfect, for example, for mounting directly on the back of a Land Rover Defender cubby box. This is suitable for anyone who does not want the height of their cubby box want to raise to mount a MUD Sub-Locker, especially on aftermarket cubby boxes where the height is typically higher than the factory cubby box.

The connection set includes:

• 5m power cable (red)
• 0.8m ground cable (black)
• 5m 2-channel cinch connection cable
• 1x fuse holder (60A)
• 60A mini ANL fuse
• 1 pair of ring terminals 1x red/1x black
• 1 pair of fork cable lugs 1x red/1x black

The overall dimensions of 290 x 210 x 70mm are up to 60% smaller than most standard under seat subwoofers, making it perfect under the second row seats of a 110/130 or in the back of a storage compartment in any country Rover Defender can be stowed away.

Mounting on the back of a storage shelf provides a clean, unobtrusive appearance and mimics the subwoofer's factory installation.

The cable's inputs and outputs are all located on the underside of the subwoofer, so they can be easily routed to the head unit under the storage compartment or under the center seat pan panel.

When mounting the unit on the rear of a standard factory fitted Defender box (with a rear panel height of 230mm) the four mounting tabs supplied will need to be shortened. This is easily done by cutting off the slotted portion of the mounting lugs with wire cutters and then drilling a new 4.5mm mounting hole in each lug. See figure below.

The ultra-compact 8-inch active subwoofer Z880 has an all-aluminum housing. Despite its small size, the powerful MOSFET amplifier delivers 80Watts RMS and up to 240W Max. The bass level can be controlled via the remote control.
