Two keys to unlocking great sound in a car stereo system are serious power and extensive control — and this amp's got them both. For power, AudioControl's D-5.1300 5-channel amplifier generates 100 watts RMS per channel, so it'll drive even the most demanding aftermarket speakers with plenty of headroom to spare. You could also bridge to drive a couple subwoofers with 400 watts RMS each.
Computer-controlled digital signal processing
You won't find any knobs on the D-5.1300 — you make adjustments and save settings via your PC, Android, or iOS device. AudioControl's Smart-User DSP software package includes 12/24 dB/octave Linkwitz-Riley crossovers, 30-band equalizers, parametric filters, time delay/alignment for inputs and outputs, phase correction, AccuBass™ bass correction, and real-time analyzers (RTA) for the inputs and outputs so you can visually confirm the improvements in the sound.
It's made to work with a factory radio
Eight active speaker-level inputs allow you to connect this amp to almost any factory system, even ones that have separate pre-filtered, time-aligned, and amplified signals going to separate factory speakers and tweeters. The D-4.800 sums them into one smooth, unified signal for you to balance, align, and tune for your better-sounding aftermarket speakers. AudioControl's Great Turn On (GTO™) signal-sensing circuitry turns the amp on automatically whenever it senses an input, so you won't have to run a separate turn-on lead back to the receiver.
Convenient features
Onboard LEDs indicate optimized signal flow for inputs and outputs, plus give you a warning when a source is too loud and causing distortion. An optional ACR-3 wired remote controller lets you select sources, control levels, and recall presets from your front seat.
Alle Features im Überblick
GTO Signal Sense
Many cars can turn on the factory amplifier even if the source unit is off (Alarms, Cell phones, etc). To prevent this from turning your system on unexpectedly, you can bypass the GTO™ circuit by moving the GTO™ jumper, and using an applied 12-volts at the Remote In terminal. Using the jumper may result in some factory features not working fully.
AccuBASS® Processing
Factory installed amplifiers and woofers are (unfortunately) not designed to reproduce bass at high volumes. Car manufacturers adapt to this by taking the bass out of the signal when you turn up the volume. AudioControl developed the patent pending AccuBASS™ circuit to restore bass. After a quick and easy one-time setting, the AccuBASS™ circuit takes over the bass just as the factory system rolls off. You get smooth, seamless, and rock solid bass response regardless of volume level.
MILC™ Source Clip LED
The MILC™ (Maximum Input Level Control) patent-pending level-setting circuit prevents clipping and damaging distortion. It calculates when the waveform of an incoming audio signal on input 1 and 2 is clipping, and if it is, this LED will fulfill its prime objective and shine forth. With this advanced feature, you are able to optimize the level of the incoming audio signals until the Source Clip LED is just-prior to lighting. If the LED comes on during normal operation, you should adjust the level of the audio signals before they reach the D-5.1300.
Remote Level Control ACR-3 (Optional)
The AudioControl ACR-3 dash control is a remote level for your D-6.1200 amplifier. It may be mounted under the dash using its own enclosure, or through a custom hole in the dash. The knob should be within reach of the driver, and in a spot where the LED is plainly visible.
Audiocontrol - OEM Integration made simple
Perfect for adding a quick bass package.
The LC1i offers all of the features you'd expect in a high quality LOC without AccuBass or an ACR-1 dash mounted control knob port.
The ultimate 2 channel line converter.
The LC2i Pro provides all the essential features needed when integrating aftermarket amplifiers with today's more complex factory sound systems.
One of the simplest solutions for adding multiple amplifiers to a factory sound system.
The LC6i offers easy signal summing, 40 volts input handling and clean high to low level conversion.
When installing multi-channel amplifier systems into vehicles that will retain their factory radio, the LC6i offers a popular set of features to get the install done right and the vehicle sounding great... the first time.
Looking for DSP features, but aren't interested in software?
The DQ-61 provides most of the popular features of a digital signal processor, but allows the installer to use traditional dials and switches instead of apps or software. With it's built-in EQ, time correction, signal summing, line driver, line output conversion and AccuBass features, the DQ-61 is an incredible value.
Need more inputs and outputs? Looking for the easiest way to add an AUX in?
The LC8i offers 8 channels of easy signal summing, 40 volts input handling and clean high to low level conversion as well as an easy-to-use AUX input that can be controlled via the included ACR-2 dash mounted remote level control.
Want the ultimate in control and flexibility?
A digital signal processor is your solution. Our DM series (digital matrix) DSP's feature line output conversion, equalization, crossover, time alignment, signal summing, AccuBass and remote level control that can be assigned to any output. Our DM-Smart DSP app allows control of all features, runs on all popular platforms, and is among the easiest to use in the industry.
Or simplify the installation even further by combining your amplifier and LOC or DSP all in one!
