Designed for maximum sound quality and enhanced audio performance, the LC5i includes AccuBASS®. This patented process automatically corrects the bass cut common to many factory-installed audio systems, and AudioControl's unique and exclusive AccuBASS® circuitry maintains and restores bass when volume is increased, improving audio performance.
The LC5i allows flexible powering of audio signals downstream of single or multiple factory amplifiers to maximise sound quality and achieve high output power at an affordable price. In addition, the LC5i is designed to fit into a compact chassis that allows easy and flexible setup of the factory system in today's space-constrained vehicles. The ACR-1 remote control allows the user to control the level of the low frequency output.

Most factory systems roll off the bass response at high volume levels, leaving the system sounding thin and weak. AccuBASS™ corrects the roll off that occurs at high volume levels, delivering killer bass at all volumes!
GTO™ is a system that automatically turns on the LC5i when it detects the presence of signal on the main input. This eliminates the hunt for a turn on wire for the LC5i and amplifiers. Coupled with GTO™ is a turn on output that is designed to turn on aftermarket amplifiers.
The LC5i will feed up to 9.5 volts of high output signal to amplifiers, extracting maximum performance. It’s more than 4x the output of a typical aftermarket head unit. Output level controls allow fine-tuning for optimum sound quality and performance.
Some factory systems have amplified outputs that use active crossover networks. Internal channel summing eliminates the factory crossovers. This feature is selectable. If summing is not used, the L57i functions as five separate channels allowing front to rear fading with subwoofer.
The LC5i is in a very compact chassis, allowing placement in more convenient areas within the vehicle, saving time and money during the installation.
ACR-1 remote level control allows level adjustment of Channel 3 outputs.
