AudioControl The Epicenter InDash Bass Restoration Processor with SPL Microphone
If you want the best bass possible and a way to measure how loud your system is playing, The Epicenter InDash car audio processor is the perfect product for you. The Epicenter InDash is an expert combination of the bass enhancement circuits along with a microphone and a 160-dB SPL (sound pressure level) display. The display will show real time SPL or hold the highest value so you can show your friends. It will also display voltage so you can monitor your vehicle’s electrical systems. With AudioControl’s unique Para-Bass equalization control, you select the frequency and bandwidth for the enhanced bass action. The Epicenter InDash car audio processor gives you great bass and a way to see the result.
The Epicenter InDash uses AudioControl’s bass restoration circuitry, which actually adds lower octaves of bass to any performance autosound system. In addition, The Epicenter InDash includes AudioControl’s Para-Bass equalization, which allows the user to fine-tune the bass response to their specific vehicle. The net result is more bass…louder.
In addition to allowing users to maximize their bass response, the new The Epicenter InDash offers a specially designed microphone mounted on the front panel that can measure up to 160 dB. The SPL is then shown on an LED display on the front panel of The Epicenter InDash. Optionally, users of The Epicenter InDash may select to see their SPL measurement constantly updating or in a peak hold mode. The display also will show the systems power voltage with one tenth volt resolution.
All AudioControl autosound components are backed by our industry leading, FIVE year parts and labor warranty when installed by an authorized dealer.
Why do AudioControl OEM Processors work so well?

Alle Features im Überblick
Patented Bass Restoration Circuitry™
The Epicenter InDash contains the most popular bass maximization circuitry in the world made famous by The Epicenter. This circuit accurately recreates and injects low frequency information back into the signal path. What that means in everyday terms is that The Epicenter InDash will give more bass impact to your best compact discs, MP3 tracks or even your old tapes (if you happen to have any lying around).
SPL display
AudioControl designs and manufactures a complete line of professional real time analyzers/SPL meters and microphone calibrators that are used by professional sound contractors, studio engineers and are the standard measurement tools for sound-off organizations like IASCA and USACi. It is that background that lets us equip The Epicenter InDash with a 160 dB capable microphone and SPL display.
Battery Voltage Indicator
MThe Epicenter InDash gives you the option of measuring the SPL output of your system and it also allows monitoring of the battery voltage of your system. Wonder why your SPL is a little lower this week versus last? Many times you should check your cars electrical system to make sure it is still putting out like it used to.
Speaker-Level Inputs
If you are like many people who enjoy the look and features of your factoryinstalled source unit but feel your system is lacking in power and bass, we have good news. The Epicenter Plus has high-impedance speaker-level inputs that allow it to accept amplified signals from all known factory-installed systems (even Bose) and output a high-quality pre-amp signal via standard RCA connectors. This will allow you to add better-quality aftermarket amplifiers, processors and speakers while keeping the convenience features of your factory-installed source unit. Unlike inexpensive speaker-level and line-output converters, The Epicenter Plus offers the highest sound quality and can handle the full signal strength of a 400-watt per channel amplifier.
Para-BASS™ Equalization
The Epicenter InDash will increase your bass, and control it. The Epicenter InDash uses our Para- BASS equalization circuit to help shape the enhanced bass to match with your speaker system.
