This easy to install CAN bus adapter is required to the original factory radio with an "aftermarket" device (aftermarket radio as from Alpine to, Kenwood, Pioneer, etc.) to replace, so that the factory installed Rockford Fosgate amplifier remains usable.

This Axxess AXTO-MI3 CAN BUS adaptor is at a radio / navigation system retrofit following amplifier signals and functions available:
- High-level speaker input
- Adjusting the fader
- Balance adjustment
More comfort: Retains original steering wheel remote control
To continue to use the functions of the factory steering wheel remote control, you also need the appropriate steering remote control module (Axxess ASWC-1).
It can therefore be your new car radio, your AV Tuner, AppRadio or navigation system perfectly integrated into the vehicle.
Why the CAN bus adapter?
Today's radio or navigation systems provide not only the music of the radio or navigation instructions again but are deeply linked with the vehicle electronics. This communication structure, called CAN bus, connects control units, sensors, multimedia devices, and more with each other.
Therefore, to keep the communication between all integrated into the CAN bus devices upright / intact when replacing the factory radio / -navis a vehicle-specific CAN bus adapter is required.
