The robust rear camera was specially selected for heavy-duty applications.
The DR770X front camera records Full HD videos at 1080p and 60 FPS in a 139-degree wide angle. 60 frames/second means videos look more lifelike and the dashcam can better capture details in fast-moving objects, such as license plates, thanks to reduced motion blur. With the Sony STARVIS™ image sensor, you get impressive image clarity day and night.
The rear camera with the waterproof metal housing (protection class IP69K) is well protected from the weather. Equipped with IR diodes for night vision, it was specially developed for installation on trucks and vans.
It is mounted on the outside using screw fastening. A 15m connection cable is included.

This allows you to connect to your BlackVue anytime, anywhere in the world. Enjoy remote live view and push notifications to your phone. Remotely backup important videos to the cloud. Play videos from dashcam storage or cloud storage and download them from anywhere. Enjoy two-way voice communication with the driver from the app via the dashcam's built-in speaker and microphone.
Every BlackVue dashcam comes with an original BlackVue microSD card. We test our cards extensively before selecting them for inclusion in our products to ensure that they perform well and degrade as little as possible over time.
The BlackVue Viewer (WINDOWS/MAC) is free to download and use. With it, you can easily change your BlackVue configuration settings and review recorded videos.
Videos are displayed here chronologically and by type (Normal/Event/Parking) so you can quickly identify and archive important footage. You can also export video segments, remove audio, or export screenshots.
The BlackVue app allows you to connect to your dashcam via Wi-Fi to access video on the spot.
In parking mode, the dashcam monitors your vehicle while you are away and records video if it detects movement or an impact. The connection cable for connecting to the vehicle battery is already included (alternatively: Power Magic Pro or Power Magic Battery Pack).
The dash cam automatically switches to parking mode when the ignition is turned off. Power shutdown and timer can be set in the BlackVue app.
Log speed and position of your videos
Speed: Speed data is displayed in the video (can be switched off in the settings). You can choose whether you want this to be displayed in Km/h or Mph.
Position: You can visualize the location of your vehicle in the BlackVue Viewer map during video playback.
Loop Recording: The DR770X records the oldest video files first when the microSD card is full, in a seamless loop.
Adaptive Format-Free Technology: Your BlackVue stores and organizes files on the microSD card in the most efficient way. This reduces the need to format the card and prevents file corruption even after multiple write cycles.
BlackVue dashcams are very easy to install. Attach the front unit to the windshield behind the rearview mirror using the provided double-sided tape.
This way the dashcam is invisible to the driver's eye. Simply plug the power cords into your vehicle's cigarette lighter/accessory plug. Recording begins automatically as soon as you switch on the ignition. Once set up, you will quickly “forget” your dashcam because you know that it records reliably.
