Do you want to finally enjoy the high quality digital radio with its multitude of radio stations? Have you searched all the time, found nothing and would it be far too complicated to integrate it into the vehicle electronics?
DENSION DAB + U digital radio interface is just right for you! Because this is simply connected to the factory-installed USB port DENSION DAB + U in use The digital radio stations are shown like MP3 files in the radio / navigation display and thus enable simple operation and broad compatibility. The station search and setting options are also displayed as virtual MP3 files. Here, control is very simple using the buttons on the radio / navigation system or, if available, with the steering wheel remote control. Incidentally, the digital radio standards DAB , DAB + and DMB-R are supported. After plugging the DAB + U into the USB interface, go to “IPOD” and select the “ARTISTS, sometimes ALBUMS” folder and then to “SETTINGS” and then to “SCAN”. After a minute you will see the available channels. The advantage of this new firmware is that there are almost no more buffering times and the stations start playing immediately after 2-3 seconds. Please check under "Compatibility" whether your vehicle is already listed as compatible or incompatible. With the DENSION Glovebox EXT2CP2 (not included in the scope of delivery / optionally available under accessories) you can easily and conveniently continue to use your USB connection for storage media. Simply flip the switch on the DENSION , the DAB + U interface is deactivated and the USB connection on the glovebox is activated. You can play music from your USB stick or another USB storage medium as usual. As in the previous version (DBU1GEN), the functionality is not removed. Simply DENSION DAB + U interface to the original USB port 1 of the vehicle using the supplied USB cable. The device itself is supplied with power via the USB connection and does not have to be laid separately. The DAB / DAB + glass adhesive antenna ensures digital radio reception in your vehicle. It is universally suitable for all vehicles and can be installed very easily and without drilling. The high-quality integrated amplifier increases the reception power by up to 15dB. To do this, simply DENSION DAB + U, start the ignition and check status LED 2 - done. 1 The original USB port must be capable of MP3 / play MP3 files.
