The integrated Bluetooth car interface extends the factory car radio with a hands-free function and wireless audio streaming. The system comes with built-in bluetooth and microphone. The GROM-BT3 Bluetooth car adapter has an expansion port that can be used for aux-in 3.5mm audio and USB charging with an optional, separately available additional cable.

Bluetooth function

hands-free set : Make hands-free calls in your car (HFP), answer or decline the call using the car radio or the steering wheel button, and speak through the loudspeakers of the car radio and the microphone supplied.

Wireless music streaming: Stream music from your smartphone to the car radio via Bluetooth Wireless Audio (A2DP), control the music via the buttons on the car radio or the steering wheel controls (AVRCP).

The GROM Bluetooth interface is compatible with all smartphones, Android and iPhone and with all audio streaming phone applications or players (Spotify, Pandora and others).

Android smartphone app

DashLinQ Android Car Mode App is available in the Google Play Store. It becomes easy and safe to use your phone for music, phone calls and navigation while driving. Works great with the GROM-BT3 Bluetooth Car Kit. For more information go to the DashLinQ page.

Please contact your local BMW dealer and ask him to convert the stereo system so that it accepts a CD changer. If your vehicle falls within the above range and has a navigation system, CD changer or iPod connection, GROM works without reprogramming.
