The Hertz CS 200 S4 subwoofer from the Cento series is the perfect addition to any sound system to fully enjoy the authentic Hertz sound experience! The R&D team, which is always at the forefront in search of innovative solutions, with tireless efforts managed to extract powerful bass frequencies from compact closed cabinets and to optimize all electro-acoustic parameters according to the set goal: high performance from cabinets from 9, 6L (0.33CF). The reduced installation depth, the compact motor and the absence of the rear decompression vent allow the enclosure to be molded around the subwoofer, achieving a depth almost equal to that of the driver itself, ensuring maximum freedom of installation in any type of car. The special cooling system for the six-layer voice coil keeps the operating temperature in the optimum range, even during longer listening sessions with high sound pressure levels. An innovative system of dynamic fluid optimization and turbulence reduction has been achieved thanks to the special mounting of the spider, which acts as an air duct to the vent holes on the basket. This drastically reduces air compression at high deflections and acoustic distortion. The cone geometry, the suspension and the spiders have been optimized using FEM (Finite Element Method) simulations to obtain the best performance configuration that guarantees control and low distortions even with high mechanical deflections of the moving parts. The terminal block uses solid push connectors for wires up to 8 AWG. This results in low wiring resistance and maximum ease of connection, even in installations with several subwoofers. The subwoofer is also equipped with an elegant high-strength ABS plastic gasket that allows the grille to be fixed to complete the installation. The optional grille made of robust black metal mesh offers full protection for the subwoofer and an attractive look, not least thanks to the elaborate Hertz logo. With the subwoofers from the Cento series, even younger sound enthusiasts can enjoy spectacular deep bass reproduction in the car!
