The motion sensor is an additional protection unit for your motorhome or caravan. As a passive infrared detector, it detects the heat signature of human bodies and sends an alarm via coded radio signals. Due to the 2.4 GHz technology used, this sensor is only compatible with the PATROLLINE HPS series.

Application

The wireless motion detector was specially designed for monitoring large rooms such as motorhomes, boats or truck holds. This sensor is an indoor motion detector that communicates wirelessly directly with the alarm system. It is registered directly at the alarm system and triggers the alarm when a movement is detected. If necessary, the alarm zone can be switched off and you can move within the monitored area with the alarm system sharpened.

Sensitivity

The sensor is designed to ensure correct detection, especially at high temperatures. The motion sensor detects 64 zones in the monitored area. At each point of the detection zone, more than 4 zones are used to confirm whether or not to trigger an alarm. The sensitivity of the motion detector is automatically increased at high temperatures. This is especially true at background temperatures of 35-37 °C, i.e. in the range of the temperature of the human body.

Power supply

The sensor is equipped with a power saving mode and consumes only 35 µAmp. This allows long wireless operation of the sensor with only one CR2032 button cell. In conjunction with the HPS58 radio receiver, any alarm system can be extended with this motion detector.
