In the configurator you have the choice between pre-assembled Plug&Play amplifier cable sets in automotive quality or with a cheaper DIY cable set where you can save money by "doing it yourself".
The following applies to both variants - nothing is "tinkered" with the original wiring harness, but everything can be professionally installed with weatherproof plugs and cables - and of course also rebuilt without a trace. We offer special brackets for mounting the amplifiers, which can be perfectly mounted on existing mounting points.
Our sound packs are each available in 2 versions - a version with speakers that fit directly "Drop & Fit" into the original speaker housing and our MOD version, which requires slight modifications for particularly powerful speakers (with a larger magnet). This replacement head unit for selected touring motorcycles from 2014 can retain the factory handlebar control with the common SWC modules. If you are considering upgrading your factory radio to the HDHU.14si receiver, you can use a SWC adapter (included) to keep the functionality and convenience of the handlebar controls.
Installing the HDHU.14 couldn't be easier. Simply connect the OEM radio wiring harness to the included secondary wiring harness. HDHU.14si uses OEM radio antenna cable and USB media port cable. Simply connect the antenna and USB cables to the appropriate sockets. HDHU.14si only requires the bracket(s) and hardware used with the OEM head unit. HDHU.14's faceplate maintains the design of the OEM head unit without the need for ugly fairing kits.

Der SMD DD-1 wurde speziell für die Einstellung von Audio-Quellen und Verstärkern entwickelt. Anhand einer LED signalisiert er ganz präzise kritische Verzerrungen (Clipping) im Audiosignal. So kann man sicherstellen, dass alle Audio-Komponenten in der Kette - angefangen von der Signalquelle bis hin zum Verstärker - ein unverzerrtes Signal liefern und so die Lautsprecher vor Beschädigung geschützt werden.
Beim Clipping (übersteuern) entsteht eine Gleichspannung, die zum Stillstand der Schwingspule des Lautsprechers führt, damit fehlt dieser die nötige Kühlung und die Schwingspule brennt durch.
