This replacement head unit for selected touring motorcycles from 2014 can retain the factory handlebar control with the common SWC modules. If you are considering upgrading your factory radio to the HDHU.14si receiver, you can use a SWC adapter (included) to keep the functionality and convenience of the handlebar controls.
Installing the HDHU.14 couldn't be easier. Simply connect the OEM radio wiring harness to the included secondary wiring harness. HDHU.14si uses OEM radio antenna cable and USB media port cable. Simply connect the antenna and USB cables to the appropriate sockets. HDHU.14si only requires the bracket(s) and hardware used with the OEM head unit. HDHU.14's faceplate maintains the design of the OEM head unit without the need for ugly fairing kits.

Co-developed with iDatalink Maestro, the DSR1 combines a full-featured 3Sixty digital signal processor with a flashable Maestro integration module. The DSR1 can be used out-of-the-box with high or low level input, or with a quick flash download to add vehicle specific firmware to enable integration without the loss of factory equipped controls and features. Once connected, complete control of the sound profile can be adjusted using the proprietary Rockford Fosgate PerfectTune™ software.
The DSR1 is the first real solution for replacing the factory amplifier and speakers in Ford and Chrysler vehicles, as the DSR1 uses the full-range, flat audio signal from the factory source unit.
After the built-in Maestro interface is flashed with the vehicle-specific firmware, the factory source unit CANbus messages are used to control the internal signal routing of the DSR1. The DSR1 still utilizes the power processor found in our patented 3Sixty.3, but adds an easy to use app for tuning from Apple and Android devices.
The equalizer can account for whatever flash your bike currently has. The plug & play signal harness comes with load resistors built into it that dramatically improves the sound quality of your factory Harley-Davidson® radio.

The RZ10 is not designed anything like other 10" subwoofers. This subwoofer has a number of design characteristics that allow it to perform in a saddlebag at high volumes where a car audio-type subwoofer would fall on its face. The RZ 10 has a lower voice coil inductance which allows it to play in a higher frequency range than a traditional subwoofer. By allowing the subwoofer to play up in the same range as the lid and fairing speakers, the subwoofer is able to acoustically reinforce what those smaller speakers are doing at the lower end of their own range. This makes for a much more aggressive punch on the bottom end that you just can't get with a subwoofer that is limited to 100hz and below. This subwoofer plays from 45hz to 400hz and does not require a low pass crossover (high pass crossover is required). A low pass crossover is not required because the speaker naturally rolls off above 400hz on it's own without any need for equalization or low pass crossover.
The RZ10 subwoofer is designed to perform in conjunction with other smaller speakers on the bike (6x9s and 6.5") to make those speakers sound much bigger and bolder. The RZ10 subwoofer is not designed to be used as a standalone subwoofer like one that you would find in a car audio system. These woofers must be high passed (not low passed) at 45hz with a 24db per octave slope. The final usable range is 45 - 400hz. Bikes with a factory radio must be flashed with the TecnoResearch tool and the Rockford Fosgate flash. No equalization of any kind should be used below 200hz. If used with lid speakers, the lid speakers must have a suspension and motor characteristics that will allow it to share the enclosure space with the subwoofer. Not all lid speakers are capable of this. We recommend the Velocity R690 which is the speaker that all of our OverDrive kits are based on.

Der SMD DD-1 wurde speziell für die Einstellung von Audio-Quellen und Verstärkern entwickelt. Anhand einer LED signalisiert er ganz präzise kritische Verzerrungen (Clipping) im Audiosignal. So kann man sicherstellen, dass alle Audio-Komponenten in der Kette - angefangen von der Signalquelle bis hin zum Verstärker - ein unverzerrtes Signal liefern und so die Lautsprecher vor Beschädigung geschützt werden.
Beim Clipping (übersteuern) entsteht eine Gleichspannung, die zum Stillstand der Schwingspule des Lautsprechers führt, damit fehlt dieser die nötige Kühlung und die Schwingspule brennt durch.
