This video interface has an activation option for the rear camera input in the factory infotainment system. This interface is easy to install thanks to the included connection cable. It allows the connection of a rear-view camera and two video inputs (eg DVD player, DTT tuner) to the factory navigation system of the vehicle manufacturer and playback directly in the navi.

Extended visibility behind the vehicle for added safety and comfort

With this video interface, you have a significant safety gain when reversing (eg recognizing playing children), a much simplified orientation during maneuvering or parking - all without the installation of optically possibly interfering additional monitors. When the reverse is engaged, the interface automatically switches to the reversing camera.

Important instructions:

The interface feeds only video signals into the factory infotainment. To input audio signals, a factory audio AUX input or an FM modulator can be used.

Additional multimedia options

If you spent a lot of money on a navigation system with TV function or DVD player, you should be able to expect that the playback is usable on the road - for unbraked TV or video enjoyment of your passengers. However, most standard navigation systems prohibit the display of TV, DVD etc. while driving. But just then the riders want to spend time with the game console or the children watching a TV series / DVD.

Our Freeview offers you the possibility to display picture signals during navigation in the navigation system. This only applies to the video you are watching .

The reputation of moving images or the use of this function is not allowed in most countries or States by the Road Traffic Act and / or insurance. Usage is at your own risk! Kompatibilität

Compatible with:	Mercedes Benz vehicles of generations NTG3 or NTG4 with Comand APS, Audio50 APS or Audio20 with rectangular 10-pin HSD LVDS connection on the monitor. Comand APS (PCMCIA slot under the ON button) is used, among other things, in the following vehicles : C-Class (W204) from 03/2007 to 02/2011 CL class (C216) from 01/2006 to 05/2009 CLC class (CL203) from 09/2008 E-Class (W212) from 04/2009 to 05/2011 E-Class Coupe (W207) from 05/2009 to 05/2011 CLS Coupe (C218) from 01/2011 to 05/2011 GLK class (X204) from 09/2008 S-Class (W221) from 10/2005 to 05/2009 SLS (C197) from 03/2010
Important notes	The Audio20 NTG4 and Audio50 APS NTG4 were partly longer than the above data. Audio 50 APS with only arrow navigation (Navi button but no PCMCIA to Head-unit) is there as NTG4, there is no Audio50 APS NTG4.5. There is no Becker Map pilot or preparation in combination with NTG4. This accessory points to NTG4.5. In the case of Year of manufacture until the end of 2012, we recommend to check before the order to see if the monitor or head unit is a rectangular 10-pin LVDS picture connector.
