Setting up the Campingman Portable 3 is child's play thanks to its compact design: simply position the antenna with a clear view of the satellite, connect the coaxial cable - done. At the push of a button, the antenna finds the desired satellite fully automatically. The antenna is optimally protected against external damage and weather influences by an elegant plastic cover.
The antenna can be aimed at the desired satellite using your smartphone or tablet. The appropriate app is available free of charge in the App Store or Google Play Store. Alternatively, satellite selection is also possible on the control unit itself. But not only the antenna control is app-controlled, firmware updates can also be easily installed via it. While this previously required a computer and a USB stick, in the future a command via the app will be sufficient.
With the integrated twin connection, you can operate two receivers or two televisions independently if necessary. To do this, you simply need to connect the antenna directly to the second receiving device using a coaxial cable.
The auto-skew function enables correct polarization adjustment of the LNB. The further you get from Central Europe, the more the LNB has to be rotated to compensate for the curvature of the earth and continue to receive the satellite signal at full level. This works fully automatically and guarantees first-class reception at all locations in Europe.
Reception is possible from all German television and radio programs in the most important holiday countries in Europe. There may occasionally be reception problems on the edge of the footprint. On the one hand, this is because the range of the individual transmitters is different and the current weather conditions such as. B. Rain, snow or fog can reduce reception.
