The PAC RP4.2-BM21 CAN-BUS Interface is RP4.2-BM21 for exchanging the factory radio in BMW CAN bus vehicles incl. Adaptation of the steering wheel buttons for the radio manufacturers Alpine , Sony, Blaupunkt, Clarion, JVC, Kenwood, OEM, and Pioneer.

SWI interface already integrated (to use the existing steering wheel remote control, previously separately required)
Individually programmable 12V output
A complex programming on your vehicle is eliminated
Update-capable via USB

Thus, the new car radio can now even cheaper and perfectly integrate into the vehicle.

The Interface controls, if available, the vehicle's own amplifier (non fiber optic) via CAN bus. In addition to ignition plus, the Interface provides the following signals:

Not compatible with:	Incompatible with vehicles equipped with the upper display screen (above radio) (CCC or CIC systems). This screen is not retained if the radio is removed, and the owner will lose the ability to adjust some vehicle settings. Radio replacement is not recommended for those applications. 1 with navigation 3 Series Coupe 2006
Important notes	In the absence of a genuine 12 volt battery cable at the radio opening, it is necessary to run a cable (included) to the battery (in the trunk). Does not retain amplifiers equipped with a Fiber-Optic input
