This adapter is intended for exchange of factory radio (for original navigation systems FP5 GM32 use) in Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC, Hummer, Pontiac, Saturn and Suzuki CAN bus vehicles incl. Adaptation of the steering wheel buttons for radio manufacturers Alpine , Sony, Blaupunkt, Clarion, JVC, Kenwood, OEM, and Pioneer suitable. Here, the PAC FP5 GM31 receives the following functions:

• OnStar® incl. Announcements with route guidance
• Factory Bluetooth (models from 2009)
• Audio controls in the rear
• Factory XM XM Text in the Driver Information Center
• warning tones
• Reversing sensors / Parking Assist
• Factory audio system BOSE / BOSE Audio (YY91 digitally without fading)
• Lane Departure Warning
• Supports audio systems without amplifiers

To use the existing steering wheel remote control, the previously separate necessary SWI-RC interface is already integrated in this adapter!

Complex programming on your vehicle is eliminated. Thus, the new car radio can now be more easily integrated into the vehicle.

The adapter controls, if any, the vehicle's own amp via CAN bus. It also provides next ignition positive with RAP (delayed shutdown) the following signals:

• speed signal
• Hand brake signal
• Reversing signal
• Reversing camera signal (picture)
• instrument lighting

He also controls, if any, the vehicle-mounted video entertainment system (eg ceiling) monitor.

Pro tip: Please note, the adapter is designed for open ends. If you want to make a professional plug&play connection to your car radio, we recommend purchasing our ISO connector set (see accessory box on the right). Then you can install the PAC adapter in your vehicle entirely without cutting off radio plugs etc.
