With this set, consisting of a brake light camera and monitor, maxxcount.de is launching a solution that was specially developed for use on the Ford Transit van.

Our brake light cameras are vehicle-specific tailor-made solutions for the integration of a rear view camera. Due to the elegant integration via the exchange with the brake light, the camera on the vehicle is very inconspicuous. Due to its precise fit, it is securely and permanently installed there.

Due to the positioning instead of the brake light, the camera is far up and looks down at an angle. This allows you to see the entire relevant rear area of the vehicle when parking, turning or manoeuvring.

With the achieved protection class IP68 the camera is prepared for all environmental influences, i.e. protected against dust and water. Even temperatures from -30 to +70°C cannot damage the camera.

A 15 m connection cable is included in the scope of delivery with which you can easily master even long installation paths.

• Look & Feel like original ex works

  By the simple exchange of the factory brake light against our with integrated rear view camera the original appearance is hardly changed. The high-quality workmanship and materials ensure a long service life and reliable operation at all times. The installation is simple, fast and without drilling.

• Specially developed for transporters

  The curvature of the roof edge above the rear doors makes installation more difficult and thus severely restricts the rear visibility area. The integration into the brake light glass and the distance gained as a result allow a much better view of elements behind the vehicle.

• Image reproduction of the rear view camera

  The video signal is transmitted via the supplied video connection cable and automatically displayed in the navigation system on a monitor, a retrofit navigation system (e.g. from Pioneer, Sony, Alpine, Kenwood, etc.) or via the rear view camera interface (optional) directly on the factory navigation system when reverse gear is engaged.

• Sharp image through 700 TV lines

  The number of TV lines determines the sharpness of the image and thus the resolution. The higher the resolution, the clearer and more detailed the camera image is displayed on the monitor.

• Protection against moisture and dirt

  With protection class IP68 the camera is well protected against environmental influences such as moisture and dust. The first digit shows the protection against foreign objects / contact, while the second digit refers to the water resistance.

High-resolution 4.3 inch (10.9 cm) TFT LCD dashboard monitor

This TFT is specially tailored to the requirements in vehicles. You can easily attach the monitor to the dashboard with the supplied adhesive pad.

The system has an auto-on function, ie as soon as a video signal is present, the image is automatically displayed on the monitor. When reverse gear is engaged, the monitor switches on automatically and displays the image from the reversing camera.
