VIBE British Audio introduces the brand new POWERBOX amplifier series!

Building on the success of the groundbreaking Powerbox Micro amps, VIBE is proud to present the more powerful and evolved Powerbox Mini series of 4-channel amps. VIBE engineers took everything that was already great about the micro amps and took the small platform to the next level.

The Powerbox Class-D mini multi-channel amplifiers have a MOSFET output stage, which is usually reserved for large amplifiers. The Class D topology is significantly more efficient than the traditional Class AB used in this type of amplifier, which means the amplifier can be smaller and run much cooler. Not only does this provide higher power output, but also fantastic sound quality and the ability to bypass channels to drive a subwoofer, making these amps a perfect one-amp solution. The high-efficiency design ensures lower power consumption and less strain on the factory battery network.

Deltabox™ connectivity

The Powerbox Mini amps have input options that ensure any system can be used to connect to these amps. The high-quality RCA inputs offer an input voltage range of 0.5V to 6V, as well as a new Deltabox™ high-level input circuitry that enables remote autosense turn-on for use with factory systems. This eliminates the need for a separate line-level converter and allows for an input voltage of up to 35V! This offers a perfect range of connectivity options. The Deltabox™ high-level input circuitry coupled with the high-quality high-level inputs allows the amplifier to use a DC offset auto-sense turn-on feature, eliminating the need for remote turn-on with this installation method. The DC offset method provides a much more stable and reliable turn-on method compared to traditional signal detection.

OPTISOUND™ Extended OEM integration

VIBE R&D has worked with the best amplifier designers in the car audio world to ensure that the amplifiers can be perfectly integrated into the most modern vehicles. The amps feature technology that eliminates auto-detection issues and OEM error messages that occur when traditional amps are installed in new modern vehicles. The technology ensures that the vehicle no longer perceives any changes in resistance, so there are no more installation problems, such as e.g. B. turning off the speakers, disappearing faders and much more. This makes the Powerbox amplifiers perfect for OEM installation. The OPTISOUND range has become the first choice for many dealers when forced to keep the factory radio system.

VIBE Sound Studio™ Active Crossovers

By using high and low pass filters with a natural 12dB slope, the 4 amplifier channels can be safely operated with passive and active systems. The amp also boasts an incredible 10hz - 30Khz bandwidth when used in FULL RANGE mode, allowing you to take full advantage of even the highest frequency range tweeters! This provides suitable amplification for high bit rate sound playback and makes the VIBE POWERBOX series a great choice for demanding sound quality systems. VIBE Sound Studio™ active crossovers are a simple and straightforward way to get speakers fully active without the need for complex crossovers.
