This video interface has the option to activate the rear view camera and front camera input in the factory infotainment system. This interface can be easily installed using the included connection cable. It allows a rear view camera, a front camera and two other video sources to be connected to the vehicle manufacturer's factory navigation system and played back directly in the navigation system.

Extended field of vision behind the vehicle for more safety and comfort

With this video interface you have a significant increase in safety when reversing (e.g. recognizing children playing), a much easier orientation when maneuvering or parking - and all of this without the installation of additional monitors that may be visually disruptive. When you engage reverse gear, the interface automatically switches to the rear view camera.

Important NOTE:

The interface only feeds video signals into the factory infotainment. To feed in audio signals, a factory audio AUX input or an FM modulator can be used.

Additional multimedia options

If you have spent a lot of money on a navigation system with a TV function or a DVD player, you should actually be able to expect that the image playback can also be used on the go - so that your passengers can enjoy the TV or videos without interruption. However, most standard navigation systems prevent the display of TV, DVD, etc. while driving. But it is precisely then that the passengers want to pass the time with the game console or the children want to watch a television series/DVD.

Our TV activation offers you the opportunity to play image signals in the navigation system even while driving . This only applies to fed video .

Note on use in public transport

Viewing moving images or using this function is not permitted by road traffic regulations and/or insurance in most countries or states. Usage on own risk! The activation is primarily intended to enable the front passenger and passengers to use the TV function while driving. The driver should not be distracted by this and should pay attention to the traffic. In your own interest! No liability is accepted for personal injury or property damage!

Important notes	Factory rear view camera: Automatic switching to RFK only as long as reverse gear is engaged. Additional electronics are required to delay the downshift. After-market front camera: Switching to the front camera occurs automatically after disengaging reverse gear for 10 seconds. A manual switch to the front camera is also possible using the button. PDC and distance lines: The display of PDC and distance lines does not work in all vehicles.
