This video interface has the option of activating the rear view camera and front camera input in the factory infotainment system. This interface is easy to install using the connection cable provided. It enables the connection of a rear view camera, a front camera and two other video sources to the vehicle manufacturer's factory navigation system and playback directly in the navigation system.
Extended field of vision behind the vehicle for more safety & comfort
With this video interface, you have a significant increase in safety when reversing (e.g. recognizing children playing), a much easier orientation when maneuvering or parking - and all this without the installation of additional monitors that may be visually disturbing. When you engage reverse gear, the interface automatically switches to the rear view camera.
The interface only feeds video signals into the factory infotainment system. To feed audio signals, a factory audio AUX input (if present) or an FM modulator can be used.
The interface is built into the monitor board (the monitor must be opened for this)!
Viewing moving images or using this function is not permitted in most countries or states by road traffic regulations and/or insurance companies. Use is at your own risk! The activation is primarily intended to enable the front passenger and passengers to use the TV function while driving. The driver should not be distracted by this and should pay attention to the traffic. In your own interest! We accept no liability for personal injury or damage to property!
