This video interface has an option to activate the rear view camera and front camera input in the factory infotainment system. This interface can be easily installed using the supplied connection cable. It enables the connection of a reversing camera, a front camera and two other video sources to the vehicle manufacturer's factory navigation system and playback directly in the navigation system.

Extended field of vision behind the vehicle for more safety and comfort

With this video interface, you have a significant increase in safety when reversing (e.g. recognizing children playing), a much easier orientation when maneuvering or parking - and all this without the installation of additional monitors that may visually disturb you. When reverse gear is engaged, the interface automatically switches to the reversing camera.

Important NOTE:

The interface only feeds video signals into the factory infotainment. A factory audio AUX input or an FM modulator can be used to feed in audio signals.

Additional multimedia options

If you have spent a lot of money on a navigation system with a TV function or a DVD player, you should actually be able to expect that the image display can also be used on the go - so that your passengers can enjoy TV or videos without interruption. However, most standard navigation systems prevent the display of TV, DVD, etc. while driving. But it is precisely then that the passengers want to pass the time with the game console or the children want to watch a TV series / DVD.

Our TV activation gives you the option of displaying image signals in the navigation system while driving . This only applies to ingested video .

Note on the use of public transport

The reputation of moving images or the use of this function is not allowed in most countries or States by the Road Traffic Act and / or insurance. Usage is at your own risk! The quality control is primarily intended to enable the passenger and the passengers to use the TV function while driving. The driver should it not be distracted and pay attention to the traffic. Important notes	Video only: The interface does NOT feed any audio signals. A factory audio AUX input or an FM modulator can be used to feed in audio signals. If 2 AV sources are connected, additional electronics are required for audio switching. Factory rear-view camera: Automatic switchover to RVC only while reverse gear is engaged. Additional electronics are required to delay the downshift. After-market front camera: Switching to the front camera takes place automatically after disengaging reverse gear for 10 seconds. Manual switching to the front camera is also possible using the button. PDC and guide lines: If the video interface does not receive the necessary information from the vehicle CAN bus, neither the guide lines nor the visual PDC display can be used.
