This video interface has the option of activating the rear-view camera input in the factory infotainment system. This interface can be easily installed using the supplied connection cable. It enables the connection of a rear-view camera and 2 video inputs (e.g. DVD player, DVB-T tuner) to the manufacturer's factory navigation system and playback directly in the navigation system.

Extended field of vision behind the vehicle for more safety & comfort

With this video interface, you have a significant gain in safety when reversing (e.g. recognizing children playing), a significantly simplified orientation when maneuvering or parking - and all of this without the installation of additional monitors that may be visually disruptive. When engaging reverse gear, the interface automatically switches to the rear view camera.

Important instructions:

The interface only feeds video signals into the factory infotainment. A factory audio AUX input or an FM modulator can be used to feed audio signals. If 2 AV sources are connected, additional electronics are required for audio switching.

Additional multimedia options

If you have spent a lot of money on a navigation system with a TV function or DVD player, you should actually be able to expect that the image reproduction can also be used on the go - for unrestricted TV or video enjoyment from your passengers. Most standard navigation systems prevent the display of TV, DVD etc. while driving. But then the passengers want to pass the time with the game console or watch the children watch a TV series / DVD.

Our Video in Motion gives you the option of displaying image signals in the navigation system even while driving . This only applies to input video .

Note on the use of public transport

The reputation of moving images or the use of this function is not allowed in most countries or States by the Road Traffic Act and / or insurance. Usage is at your own risk! The quality control is primarily intended to enable the passenger and the passengers to use the TV function while driving. The driver should it not be distracted and pay attention to the traffic. In your own interest! There is liability neither for persons nor property damage!

Important notes	Factory rear-view camera: Automatic switchover to RVC only while reverse gear is engaged. Additional electronics are required to delay the downshift. After-market front camera: Switching to the front camera takes place automatically after disengaging reverse gear for 10 seconds. A manual switch to the front camera is also possible using the button.
