The MLK 1650.3 Legend two-way system is dedicated to sound purists and aims to achieve maximum timbre fidelity combined with very high dynamics and extremely extended frequency response. Thanks to a solidly built switch, the MLCX 2 TW.3 crossover enables the realization of a two-amp system, i.e. if you connect two amplifiers or at least two separate channels to the crossover, it is possible to drive the woofer and tweeter separately. The significant increase in performance with this configuration highlights all the functions of the MLK 1.650.3 Legend system, with all its advantages resulting from multi-amplification.

In addition, thanks to the Mid-Contour and Hi-Contour Controllers, dedicated to managing the woofer cutoff frequency and tweeter cutoff frequency, the crossover point can be varied. Using each of these two “Contour” controls, a two-position selector switch, the frequency response of the system can be fine-tuned, specifically adapted to the different acoustics of the vehicles and the different installation locations of the speakers and, most of all, the listener can achieve their personally preferred sound.
