The ultra-slim sealed enclosure of the MPBX 250 S2 has been specially optimized to deliver all the subwoofer performance of the MPBX 250 S2. The housing construction is characterized by an incomparable robustness thanks to 15 mm wood thickness. Internal sound absorbing material practically increases the volume of the box and reduces acoustic resonances. Internal plate-to-plate bracing with solid corners minimizes resonance, and rounded corners aid placement. The 2S² design (2 sides/2 sounds) offers the possibility to choose between down-firing mounting through included feet with velcro straps to increase the low-frequency extension, and up-firing mounting to get more punch and definition. SSP (Sub Smart Plug) features both a plug-and-play terminal strip and traditional pressure clamps that provide a bulletproof connection and quick release.
