This reversing camera is designed for use on vans, caravans, Caravan developed etc.. The known problem: A rear-view camera can not be easily mounted on vehicles with levers. If you now use a conventional body camera you can align it downwards, but the rear of many vehicles runs slightly upwards towards the top. A normal reversing camera would detect this curvature and obscure the trailer coupling, the footboard or the bumper.

As a universal solution, the camera can either replace an existing 3rd brake light or be used as a retrofit of rear view camera and 3rd brake light. To do this, the brake light camera is glued or screwed.

Perfect detail solutions

The reversing camera in the 3rd brake light glass allows visibility beyond the curvature and thus captures the complete rear wall, bumper etc. Only then can accurate maneuvering be possible, especially when it is only a few centimeters. The high-resolution sensor allows an optimal image reproduction, the integrated Infrared lighting also helps visibility in the dark.

Perfect design

Unlike normal body-mounted cameras, this is integrated directly into the brake light glass and therefore fits well into the overall vehicle picture and is also practical. Due to the overhang, the camera module can be perfectly adapted to the respective vehicle.

Infrared diodes have been integrated to ensure optimal reproduction even in the dark. These allow a representation of the close range behind the vehicle. Of course, in the development of the special requirements for such a camera, the camera module has the protection class IP67 and is completely water and dustproof.
