Our brake light cameras are vehicle-specific, tailor-made solutions for integrating a rear view camera. Thanks to the elegant integration by swapping with the brake light, the camera is very unobtrusive on the vehicle. Thanks to the precise fit, it is installed there safely and securely.
By positioning it instead of the brake light, the camera is high up and looks downwards at an angle. This means you can see the entire relevant rear area of the vehicle when parking, turning or maneuvering.
With the achieved protection class IP69K, the camera is prepared for all environmental influences, ie it is protected against both dust and water. Even temperatures from -30 to +70°C cannot damage the camera.
The scope of delivery includes a 7,5 m connection cable, which allows you to easily master even long installation distances.
By simply replacing the factory brake light with ours with integrated rear view camera, the original appearance is hardly changed. The high-quality workmanship and material ensure durability and reliable operation at all times. Installation is quick and easy and there is no need for drilling.
The curvature of the roof edge above the rear doors makes installation difficult and therefore severely limits the rear visibility. The integration into the brake light glass and the resulting distance allow for a much better view of elements behind the vehicle.
The integrated camera module is already installed at the optimal angle to ensure the best possible view of the field of vision behind the vehicle. A wide-angle view of 120° is optimal for displaying the close-up area, so that most of the area behind the vehicle can be captured.
The video signal is transmitted via the supplied video connection cable and is automatically displayed in the navigation system when reverse gear is engaged on a monitor, an aftermarket navigation system (e.g. from Pioneer, Sony, Alpine, Kenwood, etc.) or via a rear view camera interface (optional) directly on the factory navigation system.
The number of TV lines determines the image sharpness and thus the resolution. The higher the number, the clearer and more detailed the camera image is displayed on the monitor.
With protection class IP69K, the camera is well protected against environmental influences such as moisture and dust. The first number indicates the protection against foreign objects / contact, while the second refers to the water resistance.
