Our brake light cameras are vehicle-specific tailor-made solutions for the integration of a rear view camera. Due to the elegant integration via the exchange with the brake light, the camera on the vehicle is very inconspicuous. Due to its precise fit, it is securely and permanently installed there.
Due to the positioning instead of the brake light, the camera is far up and looks down at an angle. This allows you to see the entire relevant rear area of the vehicle when parking, turning or manoeuvring.
With the achieved protection class IP69K the camera is prepared for all environmental influences, i.e. protected against dust and water. Even temperatures from -30 to +70°C cannot damage the camera.
A 15 m connection cable is included in the scope of delivery with which you can easily master even long installation paths.
By the simple exchange of the factory brake light against our with integrated rear view camera the original appearance is hardly changed. The high-quality workmanship and materials ensure a long service life and reliable operation at all times. The installation is simple, fast and without drilling.
The curvature of the roof edge above the rear doors makes installation more difficult and thus severely restricts the rear visibility area. The integration into the brake light glass and the distance gained as a result allow a much better view of elements behind the vehicle.
The video signal is transmitted via the supplied video connection cable and automatically displayed in the navigation system on a monitor, a retrofit navigation system (e.g. from Pioneer, Sony, Alpine, Kenwood, etc.) or via the rear view camera interface (optional) directly on the factory navigation system when reverse gear is engaged.
The number of TV lines determines the sharpness of the image and thus the resolution. The higher the resolution, the clearer and more detailed the camera image is displayed on the monitor.
With protection class IP69K the camera is well protected against environmental influences such as moisture and dust. The first digit shows the protection against foreign objects / contact, while the second digit refers to the water resistance.
This device combines a fully usable rear view mirror and a TFT monitor. The digital 4.3 "LCD display enables the perfect display of camera or multimedia images. With 2 video inputs, the monitor is suitable for connecting a rear-view camera, a TV tuner, DVD player, a game console or other devices The mirror is mounted using the "snap on" mechanism, whereby the rear view mirror monitor is simply plugged onto the original rear view mirror.
After that, only current, ground and video input need to be connected. The rear-view mirror monitor is therefore suitable for anyone who does not have a factory display in the vehicle or cannot accommodate a "large" monitor or who is looking for a simple monitor upgrade.
