The first module provides a detection angle of 120° and thus captures the immediate vicinity behind the vehicle. The second module has a detection angle of 95° and is suitable for detecting the rear traffic. The video signal is transmitted via a video RCA cable. There are practically no limits to the area of application, whether you want to use them on the car, bus, motorhome, truck, trailer etc. - almost everything is possible.

Thanks to the night-vision system with 12 infrared LEDs per lens, you always have everything you need in front of or behind the vehicle, even in the dark.

The most resistant park distance control

The camera is massively manufactured and achieves with IP68 protection best values for dust and splash water protection. The weather-resistant metal housing is additionally equipped with a special lens glass, which protects against corrosion and "blindness".

The delivery is complete with power / video connection cables that allow you with 15m length all the freedom of installation. For fixing pre-drilled holes can be used.

Quadscreen 9 "(22.9cm) TFT LCD Monitor for the dashboard

This TFT is specially adapted to the requirements in vehicles. You can attach or screw the monitor very well with the supplied adhesive pad on the dashboard. You can operate the TFT monitor with up to 4 cameras or other video sources.

If several video sources are available you can choose between different view modes, eg

• Single view of a camera picture
• Split view of 2 cameras, eg side camera and rear view camera
• Split view of 3 cameras, eg rear view camera and side cameras
• All 4 camera images (front camera top, reversing camera bottom, side cameras left / right)

You can switch over directly on the monitor with the control buttons or by remote control. The system has an auto-on function, ie as soon as a video signal is present, the image is automatically displayed on the monitor. When reverse gear is engaged, the monitor automatically turns on and displays the rear view camera image.

In the following we would like to show how the selected angle of coverage of the rear view camera affects the field of vision.

"Digital rear view mirror" - camera module with 95° angle

The medium angle of 95° covers less of the field of view in width, but is all the more suitable for displaying obstacles at depth. As the full width of the vehicle is usually not covered, these cameras are not suitable for monitoring the blind spot or space directly behind the vehicle.

Cameras with 95° angle of coverage can be used, for example, as "digital rear-view mirrors" to show the rear traffic or to monitor conveyor belts in agriculture.

Close range - 120° camera module

Rear view cameras with a 120° angle of coverage have proven to be the best. They capture the entire width of the vehicle without any problems. In addition, they do not produce any distortion and still offer a good depth display.

For this reason, these cameras are only suitable for monitoring the immediate close range, e.g. in the number plate bar, or also in trailer mode for detection when completely swiveling out.

Installed on a motorhome or van, e.g. at the usual height of 2.30 metres, the camera already records a width of more than 4 metres. Obstacles in the depth are also well represented by the downward orientation.
