This video interface has an activation option for the rear camera input in the factory infotainment system. This interface is easy to install thanks to the included connection cable. It allows you to connect a rear-view camera ( NTSC ) and an audio / video input (eg DVD player, DTT tuner) to the factory navigation system of the vehicle manufacturer and playback directly in the navi.
Extended visibility behind the vehicle for added safety and comfort
With this video interface, you have a significant safety gain when reversing (eg recognizing playing children), a much simplified orientation during maneuvering or parking - all without the installation of optically possibly interfering additional monitors. When the reverse is engaged, the interface automatically switches to the reversing camera.
Additional multimedia options
If you spent a lot of money on a navigation system with TV function or DVD player, you should be able to expect that the playback is usable on the road - for unbraked TV or video enjoyment of your passengers. However, most standard navigation systems prohibit the display of TV, DVD etc. while driving. But just then the riders want to spend time with the game console or the children watching a TV series / DVD.
Our Freeview offers you the possibility to display picture signals during navigation in the navigation system. This only applies to the video you are watching .
