This multimedia adapter gives you the opportunity to play back the image signal from any external video sources via the monitor of your vehicle's standard navigation system.

When choosing an external video source, you have many options to choose from - regardless of whether you want to connect a DVD player, DVB-T tuner, game console, HDD multimedia player, iPod video, iPhone or a rear view camera (NTSC). With the multimedia adapter, every source can be displayed on the navigation monitor.

Simple plug & play integration into the vehicle electronics

Due to the multimedia adapter selected specifically for your vehicle (always consists of a set with a vehicle-specific adapter + cable set), the adapter can be easily plugged into the connection block of the navigation system via Plug & Play and activated by pressing the corresponding button on the radio.

The signal processing proceeds as follows: The video signal is picked up from the video output of the external source and fed into the video input of the multimedia adapter. This then prepares the video signal according to the specifications of the navigation system and passes it on to it.
