The CARica Qi storage compartment charges your smartphone wirelessly in the car and integrates seamlessly into your Ford Transit (7G) & Transit Custom (2G). The charger replaces the storage compartment on the dashboard and charges inductively according to the Qi standard.

The perfect smartphone charging solution for Ford Transit / Transit Custom

In the Ford Transit (7G) / Transit Custom (2G - type FCC) from 2019, the storage compartment fits perfectly into the vehicle design. This is integrated directly and thus inconspicuously into the dashboard. The power connection is very simple and concealed via the 12V on-board network, ie you have no annoying cables in the car. The supplied voltage converter ensures a secure power supply for your mobile device.

The special cover offers very good glare, heat and sun protection, depending on the angle of incidence. The position enables clear navigation from the smartphone.

Just put it in to charge

The CARica solution uses Qi technology for inductive energy transfer for wireless charging. To do this, the phone (max. 170mm x 80mm) is simply placed in the storage compartment and charges automatically and wirelessly. CARICA has three integrated coils - this increases the surface area, ensures charging security and guarantees optimal "refueling" in every position of the cell phone.

This prevents the plug contacts on the smartphone from wearing out during the charging process. Smartphones that are not Qi-compatible (e.g. iPhone 5 / 5s / 5c / 6, Samsung Galaxy S3 / S4 / S5 / Note2 / Note3) can be retrofitted with a special protective cover.

With CARICA, the charging process can be controlled with an on and off button in order to specifically prevent deep discharging, permanent or overcharging and thus also extend the service life of the battery.
