MDF speaker rings 8.7cm for Audi Q5

The sturdy MDF (medium-density fibreboard) speaker rings are ideal for installing high-quality speakers in a truly professional manner in the vehicle. They are an excellent alternative to often unstable plastic adapters with which speakers can never achieve their full potential. Because mounting surfaces that are as massive as possible are one of the key reasons for clean sound, even at high levels.

Due to their high inherent rigidity, they reduce any unwanted movement (vibration, swinging, etc.) of the loudspeaker basket right from the start and, thanks to their large contact surface, they also provide additional stabilization of the door panel on which they are mounted.

The rings are impregnated for additional protection against moisture. Due to their black coloring, they are almost invisible in the finished installation. The MDF rings therefore offer a very good price/performance ratio, between the expensive vehicle-specific steel or aluminum rings and the level of plastic rings.

Before the entire installation, you need to drill holes in the speaker rings yourself. Make sure you use the right twist drill for this.

For a perfect sound in the vehicle, in addition to the MDF rings, we recommend extensive insulation of the door and door panel - for example with the high-quality Roadkill insulation material from Stinger.
