The CAN bus Interface is required to play in some vehicles of the brands BMW and Mini the original factory radio or navigation system with an aftermarket radio, for example, from Alpine to replace, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer, Sony, etc..

Obtaining important CAN bus functions

In addition to other adapters support this Interface warnings and PDC (front & rear). Alerts for fuel gauge, belts etc. and for park distance control (PDC) are output through an external speaker. Whether that model is equipped with or without sound system, makes no difference with external speaker.

The following is read from the vehicle:

Why the CAN-BUS Interface ?
